Q1 2025 Performance of Top Maps and Navigation Apps in Sweden

In the first quarter of 2025, the top maps and navigation applications in Sweden showed varied performance trends on the unified platform. This analysis, based on Sensor Tower data, covers weekly downloads and active user metrics.

OKQ8 saw a significant increase in weekly downloads, peaking mid-January with approximately 13.5K downloads. However, downloads gradually declined towards the quarter's end, settling around 7K. Active users initially rose, reaching about 65.6K at the end of January, before experiencing a downturn to approximately 47.7K by the end of March.

Bolt: Request a Ride demonstrated a steady download pattern, starting at 11.3K and slightly fluctuating around 8K by the end of March. Active users increased notably, peaking at over 282K in late February, followed by a slight decrease to 273K in March.

Uber - Request a ride maintained a stable download trend, starting at 12.8K and closing the quarter at around 8.2K. Active user numbers showed an initial drop but rebounded in mid-February, maintaining around 194K before declining slightly to 156K by March end.

Västtrafik To Go downloads were consistent, averaging 4.5K weekly. Active users increased over the quarter, reaching a peak of over 515K in mid-March before decreasing slightly to 449K by the end of the quarter.

Finally, Mina fordon exhibited a steady rise in downloads, ending the quarter at about 4.2K. Active users also showed growth, peaking at 53.9K in March before a slight decline to 48K.
